Belgian MMA fighter Artur Szcepaniak is set to compete for the KSW welterweight title against Adrian Bartonski on Saturday, April 22. The event will be held at the Arena Lodowa in Tomaszów Mazowiecki in Poland. It is expected to draw a sold-out crowd of approximately 7,000 spectators. If Szcepaniak wins, he will be the first Belgian to ever take home a KSW title. This could open doors to the UFC, the largest MMA organization in the world.
His opponent, Bartonski, is undefeated in his career with a record of 13 wins. 10 of which were knockouts. This is a significant challenge for Szcepaniak, who recently defeated Dutch fighter Brian Hooi in just 43 seconds. Szcepaniak dreams of buying a house with his winnings and is excited to work with Artist Amplifier Sport, a media and marketing management agency co-owned by Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who has invited him to attend a Real Madrid match. Winning the KSW title would also bring the possibility of a home fight in Belgium closer to reality.
